About the Role
As a Data QA Associate, you will help transform receipt and transaction data into accurate business insights. You will work closely with engineering and data teams across the United States, China, and India while using YipitData’s proprietary software platform. This role offers excellent learning opportunities and potential career growth for high-performing candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Extract, label, clean, and validate data from English-language emails.
- Ensure data accuracy and maintain high-quality data standards.
- Monitor merchant and vendor data trends and identify unusual patterns.
- Investigate data anomalies, including sudden increases or decreases in data volume.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams located in the U.S. and China.
- Respond to analyst and client queries promptly.
- Follow company policies related to data security and confidentiality.
- Support ongoing data quality improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, statistics, business analytics, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in data analysis, data quality assurance, or similar roles.
- Knowledge of data tagging, data cleaning, or regular expressions (Regex).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and processes simultaneously.
- Basic understanding of Excel, SQL, or Python.
- Familiarity with accounting concepts and financial records is preferred.
- Experience with ERP platforms such as NetSuite, Ramp, or QuickBooks Online (QBO) is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
