Roles and Responsibilities
- Work closely with Legal, regulatory compliance teams, and the Data Protection Officer (DPO).
- Build and improve processes for handling complex data rights requests.
- Manage requests received through the DPO inbox.
- Handle escalated privacy-related concerns from customer support teams.
- Monitor communications from regulators and escalate urgent matters when required.
- Investigate and manage personal data incidents involving support agents.
- Provide feedback and guidance regarding data protection incidents.
- Ensure all rights requests are completed within regulatory deadlines.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution.
- Ability to provide a provisional or final graduation certificate.
- Minimum 18 months of customer service experience.
- Fluency in English (C1 level or above).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and IT skills.
- Ability to explain complex topics and understandably.
- close attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated with a positive team-player attitude.
- Passion for helping customers and resolving issues effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates with the following qualifications will have an added advantage:
- Experience handling data protection or data subject rights requests.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field.
- IAPP CIPP/E Privacy Certification or equivalent qualification.
- Knowledge of additional languages such as French, German, Portuguese, or Spanish.
